PureTech® Alpha Plus® "The New Generation" of Polypropylene Alpha Plus® is a homo-polymeric polypropylene (PP-H), developed using special nucleating agents that make it possible to produce an extremely fine crystalline super lattice in the a-crystalline form. This super lattice structure on the internal surfaces of the piping give Alpha Plus® the lowest surface roughness values(RA12) of any polypropylene available in the market today. An extremely low surface roughness is essential when it comes to reducing the adhesion of particles(incrustations) and formation of bacteria colonies. Alpha Plus® is ideal for applications in the semiconductor, biotechnology and life sciences fields. This proprietary resin formulation and enhanced extrusion technologies meets applications ranging from low water purity (resistivity of less than 1 meg OHM/CM) to absolute water purity (resistivity of 18 meg OHM/CM).

PureTech Kynar®740 Kynar® polyvinylidene fluoride, the homopolymer of 1,1-di-fluoro-ethene (VF2) , is a tough, engineering thermoplastic that offers a unique balance of properties. It has the characteristic stability of fluoropolymers when exposed to harsh thermal, chemical, and ultraviolet environments, while the alternating CH2 and CF2 groups along the polymer chain provide a unique polarity that influence its solubility and electric properties. Kynar® PVDF piping systems are used extensively in the high purity semiconductor market, biotechnology and life sciences (low extractable values). Kynar has also met specifications for the food and pharmaceutical processing industries.
