AirTech™ KYNAR® 740 PVDF Duct Systems

High Performance Alternative to Lined Steel Exhaust System

PVDF is a flame retardant, partially fluorinated high-performance material featuring the largest service temperature of weldable thermoplastics.  Kynar 740 PVDF has outstanding chemical, physical, and mechanical properties, and retains most of its strength up to 280ºF / 135°C.

As a material for fume exhaust duct, PVDF is chemically resistant to most inorganic acids and bases, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, organic acids, alcohol, wet or dry chlorine, bromine and other halogens.  It is the material of choice for the semiconductor industry and any industry where reactive exhaust gasses must be separated rather than transported in a single exhaust system.

Protect Your Clean Room with AirTech PVDF®

Our PVDF duct material protects your clean room environment from contamination by fire and smoke, potentially eliminating the need for expensive specialized fire-protection systems. Tested for flame spread and smoke release per ASTM E 84 (UL723), AirTech in Kynar PVDF offers excellent fire protection without flame-retardant additives.
