Plastic Ball Check and Spring Check Valves

Ball Check valves are ideal where backflow could potentially damage key system components such as filters, pumps or process equipment. Line pressure unseats a solid plastic ball to open the valve. When inlet flow ceases, the back flow seats the ball on an elastomer seat, stopping the flow. We offer the BCQ Ball Check valve for vertical service and the SCR Spring Check valve for use in any mounting position.

BCQ Series Ball Check Valve for Economical Vertical Service

Simtech BCQ Series Ball Check valves seat with minimum back pressure and are recommended for vertical service. The BCQ features a full port for greater flow with minimum loss of pressure and turbulence.  BCQ features include:
  • True union end connectors allow easy maintenance
  • Internal splines provide very large open area around ball minimizing pressure drop
  • Combination seat/seal provides effective seal with minimum back pressure
  • Internal gland prevents damage to seat/seal in the event of excessive back pressure

Available Sizes:      ½” – 4”
Body Materials:      PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF
Seal Materials:        EPDM, Viton
Connections:          True Union socket or Thread, Spigot, Flange

SCR Series Spring Check Valves Seal Tight Without Back Pressure

Spring Check valves are used to prevent back-flow and siphoning. An internal corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring maintains a positive seal even when no back pressure is present, making them idea for vertical or horizontal mounting. Simtech SCR spring check valves require a minimum of flow pressure to open the valve. A flow direction indicator is molded into the body for accurate installation.

  • Pressure rated to 150 psi
  • Spring materials AISI 316 SS (V4A) or PTFE coated SS
  • Reduces noise and vibrations during in line turbulence

Available Sizes:       ½” – 2”
Body Materials:       PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF
Seal Materials:        EPDM, Viton
